There are reports that Microsoft is going to do a huge ad push in the UK in an effort to capture market share there. Currently, Microsoft’s Bing has a 3% share of search, whereas Google holds about a 90% share….

Yahoo CEO Bartz Says Would Have Sold Yahoo, Mocks Facebook

In an interview on CNBC, Yahoo CEO Carol Bartz stated she would have sold Yahoo at $36 when Microsoft was offering, includes a dig at Facebook and admits Yahoo “is really not a Google”. During the interview, shown below, Bartz asks “what is Facebook’s revenue model” while explaining why the company is not Google - “concentrated on search” . Guess YouTube and the other non search products like Gmail don’t count, nor Facebook’s number two traffic ranking behind Google compared to Yahoo’s four after YouTube.

Even Ballmer was surprised the volume, the monetization and the clicks in the mobile arena. Canadian Premier Danny Williams goes to the US for heart surgery. An unapologetic Danny Williams says he was aware his trip to the United States for heart surgery earlier this month would spark outcry, but he concluded his personal health trumped any public fallout over the decision. In an interview with The Canadian Press, Williams said he went to Miami to have a “minimally invasive” surgery for an ailment first detected nearly a year ago, based on the advice of his doctors. “This was my heart, my choice and my health,” Williams said late Monday from his condominium in Sarasota, Fla. “I did not sign away my right to get the best possible health care for myself when I entered politics.” But
